Guardala Scam update 2.13.07

This is a reprint from Sax Players Blog dotcom - my online, personal BLOG as sax player Greg Vail. Since I needed to update the regular BLOG visitors, I decided to post it here too, since it is all about the Guardala Scams and Stories.

There is little new to report other than the emails keep coming in and I'm hoping some of these guys will share on this blog, their personal stories of business deals gone bad with Dave Guardala. I know some of these Sax Players will be posting soon, and hope they do, both for there own personal health and for others to learn from, because we all have something we can learn from another.

Well, the unfortunate seems to thrive online. The new Guardala sites have seen a couple of hundred visitors in the last 2 days and would look successful, given statistics alone for such new sites. See Guardala.net and DaveGuardala.net for the stories. Problem is, I wish they did not exist and am saddened by their content.

We live in very sad times. Scams are everywhere. It seems like people exist solely to steal from other people. I have never seen this amount of evil before and fear it could and is getting worse. What a sad day for our world.

For those of you that are just starting to follow the events of the Guardala Scam in my life - There are a few other places I should mention online. Of course the site exists to tell the story and the BLOG exists to allow other to share their stories.

The emails have been many but little that I can post about yet. I feel it necessary to have a safe place to share, and will not post details from anyone without prior consent. So far, I have little to add as details but much to add as second hand info.

The SCAMs have been many. Guardala has scammed potential business partners a few times now - 4 at 50-70 Grand each, 7-8 at 15 Grand each, and now as many as 9 confirmed sax players at 10-20 Grand each. I'm guessing around 450 Grand in, what appears to be, the last 3 years. This information continues to come in, but it looks pretty bad if you add it all up!

My situation I know very well because it was me. My loss was nearly 20 Grand in the last 7 months. It is so sad. I hope to be proved wrong here, but I think the number of Sax Players will end up being 2 or 3 dozen guys, worldwide.

This is the reason I went so very public on the matter? I want to stop more people from sending hard earned money to a SCAM artist. When I got sucked into the SCAM in late July 06, I could find nothing online to suggest Guardala was capable of stealing money like this, and I looked many times very hard.

I am sorry to now be involved in this controversy, but this is the only way I know to try and stop it - online.

Just wanted to include a little more information here, online, to better explain why the new CDs and new web sites have been so slow in coming together. It is going to be a very different year than I had hoped for.
